Frequently asked questions
When can I choose a Red Wings seat?
Choose a paid seat during booking or through Manage Booking more than 24 hours before departure; within 24 hours, use online check-in. Airport purchase is also available. Extra Comfort front-row seats can be booked online, but emergency exit seats are sold only at the airport counter. Operational or safety changes can alter the assignment.
Who cannot use a Red Wings emergency exit seat?
Exclusions include passengers under 18, those travelling with children under 12 or pets, pregnant passengers, unaccompanied minors and passengers requiring medical, mobility, sensory or stretcher assistance. Passengers carrying oxygen equipment or cabin-seat baggage, deportees and people under guard are also excluded. Airport staff assess eligibility.
Can I get a refund for a paid Red Wings seat or transfer it?
Seat purchases are generally non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another flight. A full refund is available if the airline cannot provide the service. After check-in, an involuntary refund requires a boarding pass marked by airline staff; apply through the airline’s refund process.
What cabin baggage does Red Wings allow?
The standard allowance is one bag up to 5 kg and 40 × 30 × 20 cm. A paid upgrade allows up to 10 kg and 55 × 40 × 25 cm. You may also bring a backpack up to 3 kg and 40 × 30 × 20 cm, or a handbag or briefcase, under the separate personal-item rules.
How does Red Wings handle wheelchair assistance?
After booking, tell the airline about your wheelchair and the assistance you need. Wheelchairs and mobility aids are carried free of charge. A manual wheelchair can be used until boarding; a powered wheelchair is checked at the counter and replaced with an airport chair. Arrange a companion for personal care or other help the crew does not provide.
Can Red Wings carry a passenger on a stretcher?
The airline must approve stretcher carriage at least 72 hours before departure, before the tickets are issued. The passenger needs an escort, and the required multiple Economy seats must be arranged with the airline.
