FlyArystan is a Kazakh low-cost airline based in Almaty and a subsidiary of Air Astana. It began flying in May 2019 and obtained its own air operator certificate in 2024. Airbus A320 aircraft serve its domestic, international and charter network, with services based in Almaty, Astana and Aktau.

Standard fares receive a free random seat at check-in. You can pay to choose a seat during or after booking, during online check-in or at the airport; eligible bundles include choices. Choosing for only one person leaves others randomly assigned. Unaccompanied-minor bookings cannot buy seat selection.
Passengers must be fit to open the exit and understand Kazakh, English or Russian instructions. Children and teenagers, senior passengers, pregnant passengers, people travelling with children or pets, those needing assistance or belt extensions, and anyone unable to move quickly are excluded. Crew decide eligibility; failing the checks means reassignment without refund. Collect the boarding pass at the airport counter.
If disruption or an aircraft change prevents the airline from providing an equivalent seat type, request a full refund from the original seller with the stamped boarding pass copy. Voluntary ticket changes, seat changes at online check-in, safety ineligibility and no-shows do not qualify.
Purchase a first-row seat and obtain bassinet confirmation at least 24 hours ahead. The infant must weigh no more than 11 kg and fit the bassinet; requests depend on capacity. One folding stroller for a child under five travels free. For cabin use it must fit 56 × 23 × 36 cm.
Tell Special Services about reduced mobility at least five calendar days before the flight. A personal wheelchair requires a request at least 24 hours ahead and travels free as checked baggage, outside your allowance, subject to hold capacity and battery requirements. Stretcher passengers are not accepted.
One piece up to 7 kg and 56 × 23 × 36 cm is free. Pack ordinary personal items into that bag. The paid 10 kg upgrade keeps the same dimensions; buy it at least two hours before domestic flights or three before international flights. International duty-free purchases have a separate sealed-bag exception; domestic flights keep the one-piece rule.
Eligible cats, dogs and turtles or tortoises can travel for a fee. Pet and container together must not exceed 8 kg; one carrier per passenger may measure up to 30 × 47 × 27 cm. Pets must be at least three months old. Notify Special Services early and obtain confirmation at least 24 hours ahead. Pets cannot sit in the first or exit rows; imports into India are excluded. Bring the required veterinary documents.
Free online check-in usually opens 30 days ahead, but opens 72 hours ahead for China flights and 24 hours for Turkey. It closes 40 minutes before domestic departure or 60 minutes before international departure. International boarding passes are issued at the airport after document checks. Unaccompanied minors, charter passengers, extra-seat passengers and bookings with special services cannot check in online.
