Frequently asked questions
How do I arrange mobility or seating assistance with Venezolana?
Tell the call centre when booking or at least 24 hours before departure, describing your assistance and equipment needs. Groups of ten or more passengers with disabilities should give at least 48 hours' notice. The published wheelchair-service charge is waived for passengers with disabilities who need it and passengers with a medical report justifying the service. Staff arrange seating according to your needs and the aircraft; special limits apply to the Caracas–Panama partnership service.
What cabin baggage can I bring on Venezolana?
One bag up to 8 kg and 55 × 40 × 20 cm, plus a small personal item such as a laptop bag or handbag. Present the cabin bag at check-in for verification and tagging. Oversized, overweight, untagged or unstowable bags may be checked into the hold at the gate.
Can a dog travel in Venezolana's cabin?
The general policy accepts small dogs weighing up to 6 kg in a suitable carrier. Request the service when booking, at least three days before domestic flights or seven days before international flights. Fees, breed restrictions and original health, vaccination and destination documents apply; Maracaibo departures require document verification 72 hours beforehand. Larger eligible dogs travel in the hold. The Caracas–Panama service with Estelar publishes separate animal arrangements, so its limits must be checked separately.
